Taken in the spring of2017 from the approach to Nat’s Bridge on the north end of Crystal Lake. Unfortunately, this massive pine and the surrounding rocks were sacrificed for the new, replacement to Nat’s Bridge.

Spring Sunset from Nat’s Bridge
Taken in the spring of 2022 from the new Nat’s Bridge. I continue to return to this location because of the composition, the placid waters and, of course, the colors in the western sky.
A mid-April weather report looked promising for an interesting sunset. The previous owner of this estate had given me free reign to photograph from the property but I hadn’t received permission from the new owners. So I stayed clear of the property line and caught this unusual sunset from behind the antique fire tower at the top of Frisky Hill.
