Tufted Titmouse in Morning Sun

Attracting birds to your home is relatively easy and can be fun.  In the winter of 2019-20 I placed a fallen tree branch in a bucket of sand and positioned it about ten feet from my office window.  On the window I placed a clear, acrylic bird feeder.  Each morning and mid-afternoon it was the busiest spot in the neighborhood.  The birds would fly in, land on the branch and then wait their turn at the feeder.  This is half of a pair of Tufted Titmouse birds that spent the entire winter visiting my feeder. Their color stands out on the low angle of the morning sun.
