Tufted Titmouse on a
Cold, Rainy Day
As winter eases its grip on New Hampshire we are frequented by freezing rain storms that coat the landscape with sheathes of ice. Such was the case the day I captures this image of a Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor) settling upon a branch to eat the morsel it had just pulled from my feeder. It is now my favorite bird image from the spring of 2021.
