Sunset on the Nonesuch River Basin
The Nonesuch River is a 25 mile long, winding river that empties into the Scarborough Marsh and Atlantic Ocean in southern Maine. Dories and lobster boats dot the bay at days end.
According to my camera data, this image was taken eighteen minutes before my image titled Indigo Sunset from Scarborough Pier. The sun was bright and casting all sorts of color, but never broke through the clouds that evening. I felt quite privileged to be in this location for the evening's sky show.
