Rockin’ Portsmouth
Sometimes a night is a just another night. And then other times you remember every aspect of the night. This was one of those nights. The day had been very hot and humid. The night air had only dropped by a few degrees, but the humidity hung on. Standing there on the shores of Badger Island in the middle of the Piscataqua River looking back at Portsmouth, New Hampshire you could hear the cheers and merriment that were carried across the water from the partiers as they let the stresses of the work week fade over dinner and drinks. Boats of all sizes floated past making their way out to the Atlantic.
I have returned to this location a few times, but it has never felt the same. That August night in 2015 is a bookmark in my life. One that I seem able to bring back in my memories without hesitation.
