Reflections of Meredith
Meredith bay had just started to freeze over the night I took this series of images. You can see the narrow band of thin ice floating on the surface breaking up the reflections from the shoreline. I had been out looking for Christmas lighting to photograph and come up relatively empty this night. That is until I reached the far shore of Meredith Bay. Looking back toward the Marketplace and downtown area the scene glowed with color and warmth on this cold night. Because of the long exposures used you will see some small star trails in the night sky.
This image was built from four sets of bracketed shots (5 shots per set, +/-2, +/-1), stitched together in Lightroom. Tonal adjustments made in Photoshop using luminosity mask.
