Barred Owl’s Morning Flight

I'd like to tell you this was taken deep in the forest while scouting wildlife.  But, as you can see from the top of the lilac bush in the lower left corner, this was taken in my yard and I was on my front deck.  We had been traveling for a couple weeks in early June, 2021.  The morning after we came back, I opened the front door and there was this Barred Owl sleeping on the corner of the railing.  It allowed me to photograph him from all angles for about half an hour.  When I walked onto the deck from the yard, that was the end of his patience and he took flight.
